Contract Work -

Why you should consider it

Only 18% of U.S. employees say they are very satisfied with their jobs, the lowest level ever recorded. Additionally, 43% of U.S. workers report feeling bunt out.

If this sounds like you, we should talk.

The Covid-19 pandemic was a major catalyst for seismic shift in the workforce.  Remote and hybrid work are now expected norms, not perks. There are many articles reporting on difficulties experienced by GenZ workers, with 58% of them reporting burnout.

Mental health programs are a top priority for most HR departments. Conversely, 78% of gig workers report positive experiences, with 24% saying their experience was very positive.

Working professionals can resist switching from a perm job to contract work for fear of losing important benefits such as a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, vision, dental, and other perks. However, RecruitMe! ensures that all contract workers representing us retain these essential classes of benefits while drawing highly competitive hourly wages.

As one of our contract professionals, you experience more freedom and flexibility, so you can have a true work-life balance, and be motivated to do a great job for our clients.

Are you retired, but can use some supplemental income?

We can help you land temporary contract or part-time jobs to help fill the talent gap.

Supplemental post-retirement income helps cover living expenses, travel, hobbies, or unexpected costs without dipping into savings.  It also allows you to preserve your 401(k), IRA, or other retirement accounts longer.

In 2025, the amount you can earn while receiving Social Security retirement benefits depends on your age relative to Full Retirement Age (FRA), which is typically 66 or 67 depending on your birth year.

If you are under full retirement age, you can earn up to $28,400 without incurring a Social Security deduction*.

Non-economic benefits of limited work past retirement include:

  • Cognitive Engagement: Keeps your mind active, which can help reduce the risk of cognitive decline.

  • Sense of Purpose: Many retirees find fulfillment in continuing to contribute, especially in roles that align with their passions or skills.

  • Routine & Structure: Helps maintain a healthy daily rhythm and reduces feelings of isolation or boredom.

  • Community & Connection: Provides opportunities to meet new people and stay socially engaged.
